Boosters,

Please make a note of the next Booster Club Meeting date and time. Thursday February 18th @ 6:30 in the New Commons Area. There will be more information coming soon from the Booster Club and Coach Reeves. The website will be transitioning to the 2010 Season from the 2009 Season over the next month or so. Therefore some information may be from last year until the updates are completed.

If your not a member of the Booster Club, please ask about becoming a member at any club meeting.

Boosters,

Please review the notices below and help when and however you can.

Can you either post something on the Web or send an e-mail out, asking if there is anyone that can help with selling spirit items, each Friday, during the lunch periods? Between 11:30 and 2:00.

Also, I need to send an e-mail out to the freshman parents, asking for their help with the spirit table sales on Friday nights. Do you have a current roster? I still need help on the following dates, home games, 10-2-09, 10-09-09 and 10-16-09.

Anyway you can help would be much appreciated.

Karns Football Boosters

Hi,

My name is Hannah Fairchild. I am running for Homecoming Queen representing the Karns High School Football Team for 2009. I am a senior and serve as one of the student athletic trainers for the team. It is an honor to be running for Homecoming Queen and representing the KHS team. It is my hope that you will support me in my efforts by supporting the fundraisers that I have planned.

September 12, 2009 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Car wash Advance Auto Parts –Karns

Ways you can contribute: show up to help, show up to get car washed, make donation

Krispy Kreme Doughnut Sales ordering through month of September. I am asking that each player and student trainer commit to selling 5-10 boxes of doughnuts. I have provided an order form and it is self explanatory. All money must be turned into me by September 28^th, 2009. We will be taking the orders, collecting cash or checks, and delivering doughnuts after October 2, 2009. Checks may be payable to Hannah Fairchild. My mom and I will pick up all orders and make one delivery to KHS for players or parents to take to friends and families who have supported the sales. This is a great way to make a lot of money for fundraiser.

If you are unable to support the fundraisers above or would prefer to make money donations instead, please feel free to do so. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

The Freshmen game was rescheduled until 6:00 p.m. today against Heritage. Heritage cancelled the Junior Varsity game. Thanks Coach Reeves

Friday night at high school, benefit BBQ dinner band and movie. Starts at 6:30
Senior pictures with parents at school under tree on Friday 6:00
Physicals due before Monday 7/27/09, and must be dated after May 25th 2009. (See Michele)
Michele also needs form completed that will allow your child to be treated if you are not available.
A pre-test is being given for students this year by KOC that will allow them to baseline your child in the event of a child receiving a head injury.

Fair and Parade Saturday 7/25/09
Seniors and Junior at Ingles @0830
Freshman and Sophomores to be at school locker room @ 0800
Pool party Sunday 7-26 at Gulf Pool Park off Cedar Bluff Road 7-10 pm
Seniors: Chips, snack (each player bring 2 bags
Juniors: Covered dishes (baked beans, potato casseroles, vegetable casseroles)
Sophomores: Desserts (Cookies, cup cakes, brownies, cakes pies, ice cream)
Freshman: Pasta & Salads
Work Day: Parents and others 8/1/09
Work Day: Parents and students 8/15/09 - Mulch Day
